The challenge

With sales running across residential and commercial inventory, several dealers and a stream of enquiries, the spreadsheets could no longer answer the questions management asked every day. Five problems stood out:

• Overdue payments: no single, up-to-date list of buyers behind on instalments, how much they owed and what action had been taken
• Dealer tracking: dealer-wise bookings and commissions were hard to follow
• Lead follow-ups: enquiries depended on individual staff remembering to call back
